There are various causes of water damage such as leak, clogged drains and building problems. But the mainly vital and hazardous cause of water damage is leak. A busted supply line/leaky pipe, a leaky roof, overflow of water from a sink or bath tub, and the breakdown of a machine that carries water are some factors. There are two types of leaky pipes, one that drips gradually and/or only when water is passing through the pipe and one that produces a constant spray of water. Leaks that occur only when water flows through the pipe are hard to detect because the water has a chance of drying. There are some tips to be followed to decrease water damage caused by leak.
